Mind Your Mind
City Prints is proud to support MindYourMind’s 3rd Annual International Youth Day Mash Up. MindYourMind is a non-profit mental health program that engages youth, emerging adults and the professionals who serve them to co-develop reliable and relevant resources. These resources are designed to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and increase access and use of community support, both professional and peer-based.
From youth organizer, Max Specht:
“Our 3rd Annual International Youth Day Mash Up is all about celebrating youth and what they are capable of doing. We highlight the talents of young people worldwide by holding a Mash Up Competition. This consists of an online audition/voting process where young people submit their talents (whether it be singing, dancing, magic, trapeze, whistling, etc.) and gain enough votes to be in the top 5. The top 5 youth performances then perform live in downtown London, Ontario in front of judges in a great night of entertainment. Thanks to the donation from City Prints, which will be handed out as a prizes to a young people at the event. Support from City Prints and other companies showcases an interest in not only the event in general, but in helping young people feel appreciated and empowered.”
