First Chance for White Pants

“First Chance for White Pants, which was named for the old Southern tradition of not wearing white before Memorial Day and after Labor Day is a fun, casual dance party with great music, food and beverages, a silent auction, a live auction, and a presentation on the work done by Methodist Home. The event is held in Greenville, North Carolina on June 1, 2017. Since the founding orphanage in Raleigh more than 100 years ago, Methodist Home for Children has grown into an organization that reaches over 1,400 children and families each year in North Carolina with services such as foster care, foster-to-adopt services, in-home family preservation, and several different types of group homes where our focus ranges from intervention for troubled children to mental health services. Pitt County has become one of the largest service areas and our goal of this event is to increase understanding of and support for the work of Methodist Home for Children in the Greenville area. Please visit our website https://www.mhfc.org/ if you would like more information on this event and to find ways to support the Methodist Home for Children.”

City Prints donated a print of Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for their auction.
