City Prints Background:

City Prints is a family-run company that makes fine art map prints of college campuses, world cities and sports stadiums. The company launched in February of 2012 and have sold over 25,000 prints in that short time. They now have over 700 different prints so they have a location for everyone on your list.

The company started after Katie and Tony Rodono had first child. When she arrived, priorities changed. They both had great jobs, but the jobs required them to be away from her all day and that just didn’t fly anymore. They built City Prints so they could spend more time with her.

They picked map art because Tony dabbled in civil engineering and fine art, so he knew that maps looked interesting. But more importantly, they were drawn to maps because they are personalized art. You can buy art anywhere, but it rarely means something personal to you. City Prints look great, but they are also very meaningful to the customer.

City Prints are conversation starters for your walls. There are so many stories behind maps – this is my hometown, our season ticket locations, my college, where we got engaged, where our kids were born, and all the places we’ve travelled. The options are endless. City Prints hopes that their maps bring out the storyteller in you.
