The Miracle League

City Prints is proud to support The Miracle League at the University City YMCA in Charlotte, NC, with a donation of one of our Ballpark prints. If you haven’t heard of the Miracle League, check them out here. They build custom ballparks with rubberized turf fields for the mentally and physically disabled.

The University City YMCA’s Miracle League is expected to break ground this spring and hold the inaugural season this fall. The league will provide a baseball experience to youth and families in and around the Greater Charlotte area. Unfortunately, not all families can afford for their child to participate in an organized youth sports league. The YMCA does not turn anyone away due to the inability to pay and utilizes fundraised dollars to offset the cost of league participation.

Local high schools organized a charity game to support the Miracle League. On Wednesday, March 1, 2013, the South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team will host the Cox Mill Chargers at Sabre Field. In connection with this game, there will be numerous activities to raise funds for The Miracle League, including a silent auction featuring our Ballpark print.

Nice work guys, best of luck with the game and fundraising.
